    Frequently asked questions

What is the ideal title length in Hindi?

Google cuts titles at about 600 pixels on desktop, not at a fixed number of characters. Devanagari letters with matras are often wider than English letters, so a Hindi title usually fits in roughly 45 to 55 characters, compared with 55 to 60 in English. Check the pixel width rather than counting characters.

How long should a Hindi meta description be?

Aim for about 120 to 150 characters, or up to around 920 pixels on desktop and 680 pixels on mobile. Put the most important words and your keyword in the first half so they show even when the description is shortened.

Why do character counters show the wrong length for Hindi?

Hindi letters are built from several Unicode characters - for example कि is क plus the matra ि. Many counters count each code point, so Hindi text looks longer than it is. This tool shows both the code-point count and the visible letter count, and measures the real pixel width.

Should I write the title in Hindi or Hinglish?

Use the form your audience searches most. If people search "paise kaise kamaye" in Hinglish, you can add it to the title or the description alongside the Devanagari version. Our Hindi Keyword Research Tool shows which forms people use.

How to use the Hindi title and meta length checker

    1. Paste your page title and meta description in Hindi, Hinglish or English.
    2. Add your page URL and focus keyword to see a realistic Google preview and keyword checks.
    3. Switch between desktop and mobile preview and shorten any text that shows as too long.

Google cuts titles by pixel width (about 600 px), not by character count. Hindi letters with matras are wider than English letters, so always check the width before publishing.
